• assurance that the investor will perform.

Project Verification Is Not Investment Due Diligence

A verified project or creator badge does not certify:

• profitability;
• project value;
• legal ownership;
• title chain;
• budget accuracy;
• revenue forecasts;
• distribution prospects; or
• investment suitability.

Independent Due Diligence Required

Before entering any transaction, obtain independent professional advice and review, where relevant:

• corporate structure;
• chain of title;
• screenplay rights;
• project budget;
• financial model;
• production contracts;
• bank statements;
• existing liabilities;
• producer history;
• distribution arrangements;
• tax consequences;
• securities compliance;
• foreign investment restrictions;

Transactions Outside Chitram

Unless Chitram launches a separately authorised regulated service with separate terms, actual investment agreements and transfer of investment capital must occur directly between the relevant parties through legally compliant processes.

Chitram should not be named as a party to such investment unless Chitram expressly enters the relevant written agreement.

Any project or user claiming guaranteed, fixed, assured or risk-free film-investment returns should be treated with caution and reported to Chitram.
